Gide has advised solar power specialist Tenergie on the acquisition of seven solar power plants from a Danish fund.
Recently recognised as the second largest provider of solar energy in France, Tenergie now owns and manages over 950 power plants in France, for a total installed capacity of 560 MW.
The Gide team advising Tenergie comprised partner Alexis Pailleret, working with associate Chloé Bouhours on corporate/M&A aspects, counsel Lucie Pernet on town planning law aspects, associate Laure Dufour on environmental law aspects, associate Emma George on energy law aspects and associate Chloé Charrier on real estate aspects. The cross-disciplinary team, made up of M&A, Projects, Public (energy, city planning and environment) and real estate specialists dedicated to investments in the renewable energy sector, has been very active this year, working alongside Total, Crédit Agricole, Equitix, Mirova, BPI and Tenergie on brownfield and greenfield operations.
The Tenergie team was made up of Grégory Margain, Anaïs Richard and Lina Brunel.
