Gide's Scientific Council, created in September 2012, aims to support the scientific publications of the firm's lawyers.
Our Scientific Council was created in September 2012 upon decision of the Executive Committee. It comprises a group of experts, senior counsels, academics and senior judges who work closely with the firm, i.e. Alain Carre-Pierrat, Alain Coeuret, Philippe Dupichot and Francis Kessler.
Partner Rémi Tabbagh is the Council’s coordinator. Given the members comprising this Council, it naturally enjoys close ties with the various university scholarly organisations supported by the firm, in particular the Henri Capitant association.
The Scientific Council's main purpose is to support the scientific publications of the firm's lawyers. It additionally organises conferences for the firm's lawyers and clients, as well as for the Paris Bar's continuous training programme. Finally, its role is also to offer advice in defining the firm's internal training policy, in particular regarding the basic skills of associates.
