Gide has advised J.P. Morgan on the acquisition and financing of a 14,000 sq.m.-office complex located in the heart of Paris, between place Vendôme, avenue de l'Opéra and rue de la Paix. The complex is made up of seven adjacent buildings built in the 18th and 19th centuries. A restructuring programme is currently being established.
This transaction, carried out alongside Altarea Entreprise, was financed by a debt fund managed by Allianz.
The Gide team advising J.P. Morgan was made up of partner Bertrand Oldra, working with counsel Etienne Chesneau and associate Lucas Gintz on real estate aspects, as well as partner Rémi Tabbagh and associate Clara Toubert on financing aspects. Altarea Entreprise was advised by BG2V (Quentin Leroux).
Firms Lacourte Raquin Tatar and Allen & Overy also advised the buyers.
