Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2014, Étienne Chesneau is a member of Gide’s Real Estate Transactions & Financing practice group in Paris, where he acts in an advisory capacity and on litigation in all fields of real estate law.
Étienne primarily works with French and foreign institutional investors on their buildings acquisition and sale transactions (as asset or share deals). He is a regular adviser to lessors and major users in the negotiation of commercial leases on all types of assets, and in lease management. He has also acquired solid experience as advisor on construction and restructuring transactions on property complexes.
Étienne is a graduate of the ESSEC (research chair dedicated to the economy, finance and management of real estate, 2013), Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Master’s degree in business law, 2011) and Paris II – Panthéon-Assas University (Master’s degree in property and construction law, 2012).
Étienne is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
