Partner Hugues Moreau advises French and international operators on all legal issues involved in the real estate value creation chain: mergers & acquisitions, investment & divestments, property development, restructuring, asset management and financing transactions. His expertise encompasses the creation of joint ventures as well as of regulated (OPCIs) and unregulated investment vehicles.
He splits his time between our Paris and London offices and is instructed on all classes of real estate assets (office buildings, retail premises and shopping centres, hotels, logistic platforms, student housing, residential care homes, leisure facilities, etc.) for a variety of institutional players (investors, developers, fund and asset managers, regulated RE management companies, etc.).
Since 2000, Hugues has been involved in number of acquisition, divestment and restructuring projects, for single assets and entire portfolios, real estate receivables and property holding companies. He has also been instructed on several major private-equity transactions in the industry (eg. involving developers and AMF regulated ManCos).
He is recognized as an expert in sale-and-leaseback transactions, as well as in real estate development and leasing operations.
He also regularly supports the French and international expansion of major retailers, particularly in the luxury and fashion industries.
Hugues is active in dispute resolution cases and represents his clients before civil and commercial courts.
