Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2012, Laure Dufour acts primarily in environment law within Gide's Paris-based Public & Administrative Law practice group.
Laure provides advice and litigation assistance to both French and foreign clients on issues related to industrial environmental law (ICPE, polluted soils, water law, waste), protection of species and habitats in the context of development or infrastructure projects, greenhouse gas emissions and asbestos. For several years, she has been regularly involved in renewable energy projects (onshore and offshore wind power, biomethanization, etc.) and has developed expertise in circular economy.
Laure works alongside the firm's Real Estate Transactions & Financing and Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate teams, in particular on sale and acquisition operations.
She holds a Master's degree in private general law from Paris II - Panthéon-Assas University, and a Master's degree in environment law from Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris II - Panthéon-Assas Universities. She is also a graduate of Sydney's University of New South Wales. She is fluent in French and English.
