Hélène Vey-Morit joined Gide’s Competition & International Trade practice group in Paris in 2011, after three months working in the Brussels office. She acts primarily in French and European competition law, as well as in distribution law.
Hélène has significant experience in Antitrust procedures (cartels and abuse of dominant position) before competition authorities, and in private enforcement matters before national courts. Hélène also assists major national and international operators in disputes before foreign authorities, particularly in Africa.
In the field of distribution law, Hélène advises several clients on implementing and developing selective distribution networks, franchises, and more generally on drafting commercial agreements.
Hélène holds a Master’s degree in European law from Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge, and has published an article in specialist legal journal Revue Lamy Droit des Affaires entitled “L’actualité du contentieux indemnitaire des pratiques anticoncurrentielles (Recent updates in compensation litigation of anticompetitive procedures)” (September 2015). She speaks French and English.
