Aleksandra Socha is a trainee advocate at Gide’s Warsaw Office. She specialises in resolving court and arbitration disputes, in particular in construction disputes, as well as disputes before the Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
She graduated in law from Kozminski University in Warsaw and defended her Master thesis entitled "Bank guarantees as a security for the proper performance of a construction contract" under the supervision of Professor Przemysław Drapała. She represented Kozminski University in the international arbitration competition Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition 2017/2018, devoted to issues of international commercial and commercial arbitration and international commercial law.
Aleksandra previous worked as a junior associate in the arbitration and construction disputes department at Dentons Europe Dąbrowski i Wspólnicy Sp. k., and also completed various professional internships in procedural law departments, including at White & Case M. Studniarek i Wspólnicy – Kancelaria Prawna sp.k., Rö Radwan Röhrenschef Petruczenko Piechota Spółka Komandytowa and Stolarek & Grabalski Kancelaria Prawnicza Sp. k.
She speaks English and Spanish.
