Gide has further strengthened its Projects practice, and Energy & Natural Resources sector expertise, with the addition of Matteo Matteucci as Counsel in its London office.
A solicitor since 2009, Matteo brings to the team significant experience advising public and private companies, governments and state-owned companies on energy-related transactions, including M&A transactions, joint ventures, project developments and commercial arrangements.
His recent experience includes advising on: various acquisitions and disposals of liquids storage facilities across Europe; the acquisition of a portfolio of wind and solar assets in Poland; the acquisition of solar assets in Italy; the disposal of two recycling businesses located in multiple jurisdictions; the development of a petrochemical plant in Turkey; and on the concession for the development of a pipeline and near-shore LNG facility in Djibouti.
Before qualifying as a solicitor, Matteo worked for three years in an Italian oil and gas services company. He is fluent in Italian, English and French.
Matteo joins Gide's Projects (Finance and Infrastructure) practice which is located at the firm’s headquarters in France and across its network of international offices.
