Jean-Philippe a exercé pendant cinq ans, au sein de l’Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), les fonctions d’inspecteur puis de représentant du collège devant la commission des sanctions. Membre de la SFAF, il entretient une activité de publication régulière et commente en particulier la jurisprudence des régulateurs financiers et des juridictions de recours.
Il est diplômé de l’Essec (2000), titulaire d’une maîtrise en droit public et droit des affaires (2002 - Paris X Nanterre), et de la qualification de Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA - 2009).
