Ann G. Baker est associée, membre de la ligne de métiers Banque & Finance, et spécialisée en structuration de fonds d’investissement. Elle conseille les sponsors de fonds pour le montage juridique, fiscal et règlementaire des véhicules de fonds (fonds de LBO, venture, immobiliers, infrastructure ainsi que les fonds de fonds et fonds secondaires), et dans le cadre de la levée de fonds auprès d’investisseurs institutionnels et family offices internationaux. Elle est également impliquée en matière de structuration de l’intéressement des équipes de gestion.
Elle assure la coordination auprès des autorités règlementaires (notamment, en France, auprès de l’AMF), pour la création, l’agrément et le suivi des sociétés de gestion, et les questions relatives à la commercialisation de fonds d’investissements en France.
Ann représente divers investisseurs institutionnels, y compris des fonds souverains et fonds de pension, ainsi que des family offices, dans leurs opérations d’investissement dans les structures de fonds. Elle conseille les clients dans des opérations secondaires de transfert de portefeuille de participations dans des fonds.
Avant de rejoindre Gide, Ann dirigeait la pratique Fonds d’Investissement à Paris d’un cabinet international.
Ann participe fréquemment à des conférences dans le domaine du private equity et de la structuration de fonds. Elle est impliquée au niveau de France Invest, et est membre de l'American Bar Association et de l'International Bar Association.
Ann est membre des Barreaux de Paris et de New York.
