On 12 April 2022, LVMH, Cartier, part of Richemont, Prada Group and OTB Group celebrated at La Samaritaine (Paris) the first anniversary of the Aura Blockchain Consortium, which provides the first global blockchain solution dedicated to the luxury goods industry.

On this occasion, the Aura Blockchain Consortium announced the launch of its new NFT solutions, Aura NFT Gifting and Aura NFT Whitelabel, which enable each brand to easily gift an NFT, or to create their own NFT storefront.

Gide advised the Aura Blockchain Consortium on the regulatory challenges related to NFTs, cryptocurrencies, and on the contractual documentation required for the launch of these NFT solutions.

The Gide team worked with Danika Ahr, Aura Blockchain Consortium General Counsel, and was led by partner Thierry Dor, working with counsel Matthieu Lucchesi and associate Camille Truchot.
