Gide advises Polish Luxury Group, owner of the Apart jewellery chain, on the acquisition of Jubitom

Gide’s Warsaw office advised Polish Luxury Group sp. z o.o., the owner of the Apart chain, on its acquisition of Jubitom sp. z o.o., a jewellery company operating over 30 stores across Poland as well as an online shop.

The Gide team, comprising Paweł Grześkowiak, partner, Wojciech Czyżewski, counsel, and Magdalena Zawiślak, associate, provided comprehensive legal support throughout the transaction, including deal structuring and assistance during negotiations; Szymon Chwaliński, associate, represented the client in proceedings before the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK); Magdalena Kalinowska and Karolina Zawiślak, associates, handled employment law matters. Support in critical aspects of the due diligence process was provided by Michał Wiśniewski, and Piotr Romaniuk, associates.

Polish Luxury Group is a holding company within a capital group controlled by Adam and Piotr Rączyński. It specialises in the sale of jewellery and watches through its Apart retail network and online channels.

Apart is one of the largest and most recognised jewellery brands in Poland, currently operating over 200 stores as well as online shops in Poland and the Czech Republic.

Jubitom, headquartered in Rumia, runs a network of jewellery stores and also sells jewellery and watches online.
