LBO Sponsors
Prominent on the French market, our LBO Sponsors practice advises French and international financial sponsors and family investment structures (including family offices) on their growth buyout and LBO transactions of all sizes.
Drawing on the Firm’s full-service capabilities, our LBO Sponsors practice takes an integrated approach, mobilising the multidisciplinary teams required to execute the most complex LBO transactions —including tax structuring, leveraged finance, regulatory clearances (FDI and antitrust), and advice to executives and management teams.
When acting for sponsors on public-to-private transactions, IPOs or carve-outs from large groups, our LBO Sponsors practice group can also draw on our M&A team’s first-rate experience, particularly in securities law.
Likewise, the team works closely with our dedicated restructuring team on the financial restructuring of groups under LBO, and with our Employee Share Scheme specialists on the structuring and roll-out of employees share plans.
Lastly, beyond its market-leading transactional expertise, our LBO Sponsors practice also possesses a deep understanding of the legal issues specific to a wide range of sectors (including IT/tech, financial services, defence, life sciences and regulated professions), as well as to family-owned businesses and family investment structures, developed by the Firm’s cross-practice teams.
