Olivier Deren is a Partner in Gide's Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions team in Paris.

Olivier specialises in private equity transactions, with particular expertise in leveraged buyouts (LBOs) and growth capital investments. Ranked by Chambers among the leading private equity lawyers in France (Band 1), he advises numerous investment funds and founders on LBO and growth capital transactions, as well as industrial players on their build-up strategies and corporate reorganisation operations.

Olivier has recently been involved in the LBO of the Isto group structured by Keensight Capital, the LBO of Argon & Co group structured by Bridgepoint Development Capital and Ardian Growth, and the LBO of the Myrium group structured by Capza alongside Amundi Private Equity and Bpifrance.

He has over 30 years of experience within leading French and US law firms. Prior to joining Gide, he was a Partner within Paul Hastings' Corporate department. Olivier graduated from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and Université Paris II.
