BNP Paribas and Orange entered into exclusive negotiations in June 2023 to define a referral partnership for Orange Bank's customers portfolio in France, develop financing solutions for mobile devices and discuss the terms of a takeover of Orange Bank's business in Spain. BNP Paribas and Orange have now signed several agreements to define the terms of the collaboration between the two groups.
Gide advised BNP Paribas on the signing of a referral agreement in France. Hello bank!, BNP Paribas' digital bank, offers Orange Bank’s customers in France an exclusive, simplified account-creation mechanism, coupled with dedicated support, allowing them to access its daily banking services and its complete range of solutions (savings, loans, insurance, trading, cashback).
BNP Paribas has been advised by Gide and Cuatrecasas in relation to the signing of a commercial agreement between Orange Bank and BNP Paribas Personal Finance, through its Cetelem brand, to provide a continuity solution for Orange Bank’s customers in Spain.
