Gide has advised Launchmetrics, the company resulting from the merger between Augure and Fashion GPS in 2016 and that provides a marketing platform and analytics solution for the fashion, luxury and cosmetics industries, as well as its long-standing investors (Amundi, Serena, Seventure and Ventech) on a USD-50-million funding round led by Bpifrance’s Large Venture fund, with participation from Seventure, the Courtin-Clarins family, and German fund Cipio Partners.
Gide’s team was headed by partner David-James Sebag, working with associates Pauline Schaeffer and Hélène Thomelin on all aspects of the operation both in France and the United States.
Gide also worked with the New York office of Latham & Watkins on US aspects, with a team comprising partner David Concannon and associate Eric Broad.
The new investors were advised by Orrick.
