Gide has advised Crédit Agricole (the national federation and the 39 regional banks) on forming two divisions that consolidate the document management and payment instruments activities of Edokial, Cofilmo and CA-Print, three historically independent entities controlled by some regional banks.
The new players thus formed around its 39 regional banks, Crédit Agricole SA and its main subsidiaries, now cover more than 10 industrial sites. They are designed to handle all of Crédit Agricole's desktop publishing, document processing and digitisation needs, and to serve markets that are currently undergoing major changes and require significant investment.
Gide's team comprised partner Guillaume Rougier-Brierre, working with associates Elsa Dufaut and Warren Luvuluzu on M&A aspects; partner Olivier Dauchez and associate Alan Sournac on tax aspects; and partner Foulques de Rostolan on aspects of employment law.
Crédit Agricole was also advised by consultants of BCG.
