Gide advised Société Foncière Lyonnaise (SFL) on its merger with Inmobiliaria Colonial

Gide advises SFL, a real estate investment company (SIIC) listed on Euronext Paris, on its planned cross-border merger with Colonial, a listed real estate investment company in Madrid and Barcelona.

This operation will complete the integration of the two companies and consolidate a pan-European platform specialising in prime real estate.

It is one of the first cross-border mergers between listed companies since the transposition of the Company Mobility Directive on 27 November 2019.

The merger will be finalised once (i) the clerk of the Paris Commercial Court has issued a certificate of compliance, and (ii) the Madrid Commercial Registry has completed the legality check.
