Gide advises EDF in litigation brought by its CSEC over disclosure of senior executive compensation

Gide is representing EDF in litigation brought by EDF’s Central Social and Economic Committee (Comité social et économique central, or CSEC), seeking disclosure of compensation information relating to its senior executives.

EDF’s CSEC summoned EDF before the Paris Judicial Court (tribunal judiciaire de Paris) to obtain disclosure of information relating to the compensation of its senior executives, in connection with the CSEC’s annual consultation on the company’s social policy.

A hearing was held on 2 July 2026 before the Paris Judicial Court; a decision is expected on 17 September 2026.
