Gide advises IronWave and Bpifrance on their investment in Wiremind

Gide advised IronWave and Bpifrance on their investment in Wiremind, a developer of revenue management, inventory and distribution software for passenger transport operators and the events industry, in connection with its first-ever funding round, in the amount of €35 million.

This transaction, which marks the first opening of Wiremind’s capital since its founding in 2014, brings in three new investors: IronWave (formerly Wendel Growth), Bpifrance, via its Large Venture fund, and Seaya Andromeda. The two co-founders, Colin Girault-Matz and Charles Pierre, remain majority shareholders and retain control of the company.

This funding will enable Wiremind to accelerate its international expansion. The company will continue its growth in South America and increase its presence in the Middle East and APAC regions. These new markets build upon the success Wiremind has already had in deploying their solutions to countries across Europe and North America.

The Gide team was composed of:

  • Partner Paul Jourdan-Nayrac, counsel Donald Davy and associate Joseph Lévêque, on Corporate/M&A aspects;
  • Partner Paul de France and associate Clément Andrup, on tax aspects;
  • Partner Benjamin Krief, counsel Roxane Bahloul-Seban and associate Juliette Mestre, on employment aspects; and
  • Counsel Aurélie Pacaud and associate Altea Agolli, on intellectual property, technology and digital aspects.
