Lawyers from the capital markets practice at Gide Warsaw have advised Bank Pekao S.A. and BGK on amending an existing bond issue programme, established by Tramwaje Śląskie S.A., including by increasing the maximum value of the programme to PLN 764.4 million. Gide Warsaw also advised on issuing the first two series of bonds made after the amendment, with a total value of PLN 268.4 million.
The clients were supported in the transaction by a team of lawyers including advocate Michał Śmiechowski, who supervised the project for Gide Warsaw, and attorney-at-law Przemysław Kopka. The capital markets practice provided comprehensive legal assistance, including legal advice to the banks in developing a new bond issue structure, amending existing collateral, changing the terms of the existing bond issue and supporting the issue of the first two series of bonds after the programme change.
