Avocat associé de Gide depuis 1994, Frédéric Nouel est membre de la ligne de métiers Opérations & Financements Immobiliers. Son activité se concentre principalement sur les transactions M&A, financières et immobilières des acteurs cotés et non cotés du marché de l'immobilier européen.
Intervenant fréquemment auprès des principaux fonds d'investissement et des grandes foncières cotées et non-cotées, Frédéric Nouel a joué un rôle déterminant dans la création en France des Organismes de placement collectif immobilier (OPCI - "non-listed Reits"), qui totalisent aujourd'hui près de 60 milliards d'euros d'actifs sous gestion. Il a une importante activité de création et développement de fonds d'investissement professionnels immobiliers.
Il intervient sur la plupart des grandes opérations du marché. Ses clients récents comprennent notamment AccorHotels, Icamap, Swiss Life, BNP Paribas, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, KKR, EDF, Eurazeo, Aermont, SFL, Engie, Goldman Sachs, PSA Peugeot-Citroën.
Systématiquement référencé en Band 1 / Tier 1 / Leading Individual par Chambers Europe et Legal 500, Frédéric figure également dans la liste des meilleurs experts immobiliers publiée par Who's Who Legal et Best Lawyers. Il a été élu Lawyer of the Year: Real Estate par Best Lawyers in France 2017 & 2020. En 2018, il entre dans le nouveau classement The Legal 500 Hall of Fame et en 2019 dans le Who's Who Lawyer: Thought Leaders 2020.
Il est titulaire d'un DEA de droit des affaires (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, 1985) et d'une maîtrise de gestion option Finances (Paris-Dauphine, 1983). Frédéric a été président de l'Union des Jeunes Avocats de Paris (1999/2000). Il a également été membre du comité exécutif du cabinet. Frédéric a co-écrit Les OPCI - Organismes de placement collectif immobilier, paru aux Editions Delmas (2008), avec Xavier Lépine et Daniel While.
