The third edition of “Shake the Law” is now on!

In order to encourage innovation in the practice of law and put the spotlight on future talent, Gide is organising, for the third consecutive year, its student competition “Shake The Law”. This year, the candidates will tackle the topic of “NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens), new instruments in the digital economy”.

The brainchild of Gide 255, our team dedicated to the support of companies in their digital transformation, this challenge targets post-graduate students (at least 5 years’ higher education) specialising in Economics & Business, Engineering & Tech, Political sciences or Law.

The three key stages are:

  1. Video application from 17 January to 28 February.

Candidates should apply in teams of two, and send in their CV as well as a video of max. 2 minutes.

  1. Selection of four teams from the applications received.
  2. Pitching by the selected teams on a case study on NFTs before a jury of experts, during the final that will take place this year on 29 March 2022, in front of our exceptional jury: Anne Lalou, President of the Innovation Factory and Director of the Web School FactoryFaustine Fleuret, President & CEO – AdanGuillaume Tormo, VP, Associate General Counsel – UbisoftStéphane Puel, Partner; Camille Truchot, Associate; Claire Debourg; Matthieu Lucchesi, Counsel, Innovation & Fintech and Franck Guiader, Head of Fintech & Innovation.

The prizes are:

  • 1st place: EUR 6,000, and an article published on gide.com
  • 2nd place: an article published on gide.com
