Gide advises XAnge for the launch of XAnge 5 and its first closing amounting to 200 million euros

Gide advised XAnge, venture capital brand of Siparex Group, on the structuring and launch of its new fund, XAnge 5, the successor fund to XAnge 4, with an investment strategy focused on applied artificial intelligence, deep tech and innovations contributing to a more sustainable future. XAnge 5 achieved an initial closing of €200 million, in less than 9 months, with significant support from its long-standing investors.

XAnge 5 is pursuing its objective of financing early-stage European venture capital companies and expanding its geographical reach beyond France, Germany and Belgium, countries in which XAnge has already invested substantially through previous vintage funds. For 20 years, XAnge has been supporting early-stage tech companies, including European leaders in software, fintech, cryptoassets and environmental transition (as for example Believe, Ledger, Lydia, Greenly or Skello).

The Gide team consisted of Stéphane Puel, partner, Carine Dymon, of counsel, Coralie Leger and Mathilde Gautier, associates, for fund structuring aspects, and Foulques Delaporte, counsel, for tax law aspects.
