Gide advised Bruno Bensasson and the management of Akuo, a major independent French renewable energy producer founded in 2007, in the context of the acquisition of the group by Ardian from its founding partners.

Specializing in wind, solar and energy storage, Akuo is present in around ten key markets in Europe and the Americas. With a strong local presence, the Akuo group develops local energy sources and contributes to decarbonization and in energy independence objectives. Thanks to its entrepreneurial spirit and ongoing commitment to innovation, Akuo now has a storage capacity of 1.9 gigawatts (GW) at the end of 2024 and aims to reach 5 GW by 2023, supported by a solid portfolio of development projects.

The Callisto teams also advised Akuo’s management on financial aspects.
