Gide advises the lenders on the €10 billion total financing of Iliad S.A.’s contemplated acquisition of assets within Altice France’s group and extensions of existing facilities

Gide advised the arrangers and underwriters in connection with the financing of Iliad S.A.’s contemplated acquisition of certain assets of the Altice France group as part of the SFR acquisition.

The financing package consists of €6.5 billion of senior facilities made available to Iliad S.A., comprising a €4 billion term loan facility and a €2.5 billion bridge facility. Acting for a syndicate of leading international banks, Gide assisted the lenders in negotiating and documenting the financing arrangements put in place for the transaction.

In parallel, Gide also advised the lending syndicate in connection with the refinancing of two of Iliad’s principal bank financing facilities for an aggregate amount of €3.5 billion, further strengthening the group’s long-term financing structure.

The Gide team was led by partner Éric Cartier-Millon, working alongside counsel Sarah Whitley, associates Jade Beriot and Olivia Ravery on the finance aspects, and partner Magali Buchert and associate Charles Ghuysen on the tax aspects.
