Gide advised La Caisse on the establishment of a pan-European joint venture with Prologis in the logistics sector.
La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (formerly CDPQ / Ivanhoé Cambridge) and the logistics pure player will respectively hold 70% and 30% of the joint venture, Prologis Logistics Investment Venture Europe (PLIVE).
PLIVE owns an initial portfolio valued at more than €1 billion, representing 844,000 square meters of Class A logistics assets located across France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
This new joint venture aims to acquire, develop, and operate prime logistics assets in key European logistics markets.
The Gide team that assisted La Caisse on the French real estate and transactional aspects of this project was led by partner Hugues Moreau and included Axel Adolph, Safa Ben Brahim, and Simon Laclaustra.
