Vincent Carriou is dual-qualified in France (Avocat au Barreau de Paris) and England and Wales (Solicitor). He is an associate at Gide, specialisd in international arbitration. Currently on secondment with the London office he shares his time between London and Paris.

Vincent regularly acts as counsel and secretary to arbitral tribunals in arbitration proceedings conducted under the auspices of the main arbitration institutions (ICC, SCC, LCIA, ICSID, PCA, SIAC) relating to cross-border contracts across various industries such as construction, energy, mining and aerospace. His experience spans commercial disputes arising out of construction and engineering contracts, M&A, shareholder and joint venture agreements, as well as sales contracts. Vincent also acts as counsel in French Court proceedings in relation to arbitration (set-aside proceedings, liability claims against an arbitral institution, claims for anti-enforcement / anti-suit injunctions).

Vincent is a graduate of Sciences Po Lille (Master II in Finance and International Trade), Paris I (Master II in Arbitration and International Trade Law) and the University of Kent (UK, Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations).
