Thomas Laval

Thomas Laval is an Associate in Gide's Projects (Finance and Infrastructure) team in Paris.
He assists private (industrial companies, financial investors) and public stakeholders (development finance institutions, governments) on the development of energy and infrastructure projects, in France and internationally, particularly in Africa. He also advises private and public stakeholders in the defence sector.
Thomas has notably advised clients in the energy (biomass, low-carbon hydrogen, nuclear), defence and space (drones, satellites), transport (ports, sustainable urban mobility), and water (wastewater treatment) sectors.
Thomas holds a Master's degree in International Private Law and International Trade Law from Université Paris Panthéon-Assas, as well as an MS in International Business Law and Management from ESSEC Business School. He has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2026.
