Piotr Sadownik is a partner in Gide's Warsaw office where he heads the Public Law, Infrastructure, Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property departments.
He specialises in dispute resolution, arbitration and intellectual property. He also has a broad experience in all fields of Polish commercial law, in privatisations, public procurement, administrative and bankruptcy law, as well as in real estate.

His recent experience includes representing:
- GDDKiA (General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways), the Polish road administration authority, in proceedings regarding claims related to the withdrawal from the construction agreement for the A-4 motorway
- PGNiG (Polish Gas Company), on issues pertaining to the development of surface facilities of Wierzchowice PMG, the largest underground gas storage facility in Poland, including the construction of a 35 MW generation unit
- KGHM Polska Miedż S.A., one of the world's largest copper and silver producers, in court proceedings initiated by authors of inventions for the payment of remuneration for using and taking advantage of their inventions
- L’Oréal in numerous actions regarding the violation of trademark law and unfair competition
