Partner of Gide, Magali Buchert practises in the field of tax law, more particularly in transaction tax (public and private mergers and acquisitions, complex restructurings, private equity).
She also advises companies in connection with tax audits and litigations, as well as with management incentive plans. Magali has also acquired specific expertise in the taxation of non-profit organisations.
Magali is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the French institute of tax lawyers (Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux, IACF).
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2005, Magali is a graduate of international business school ESSEC (2003), and holds a postgraduate degree (DESS) in business law and taxation from Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne University (2004), as well as an LL.M. from UCLA School of Law (2014).
