Krzysztof Ciepliński, advocate, a member of litigation & arbitration, IP/IT and infrastructure teams at Gide Warsaw.
Krzysztof represents Polish and foreign companies in proceedings before common and administrative courts, as well as in domestic and international arbitration. He conducts complex commercial disputes, often cross-border in nature, and advises on attempts to reach an amicable settlement.
He specialises in advising on issues of intellectual property, in particular relating to the implementation of strategic infrastructural projects in the refinery and petrochemical, metallurgy and mining, and industrial chemicals sectors.
He represents investors and contractors, as well as licensees and suppliers / contractors in the negotiation and execution of basic engineering design, FEED and general contractor (EPC) agreements in respect of technology transfer, as well as supply agreements for complex equipment and engineering solutions for industry. He also advises on concluding and executing research & development agreements and agreements for the implementation of the results of such work.
He has extensive experience in advising and representing companies with State Treasury shareholding and public law entities.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration from the University of Warsaw and the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the University of Poitiers.
Polish and international legal rankings, including The Legal 500, recommend him as a leading specialist in the fields of litigation and intellectual property law.
