Webinar: From Launch to Re-entry: Risk, Liability and the Trillion-Dollar Space Economy

As part of an initiative led by the Young ICCA Mentoring Group under the leadership of Ms. Niuscha Bassiri, Young ICCA and Kluwer Arbitration was pleased to present a webinar exploring the emerging disputes landscape in the commercial space sector.

As space activities become increasingly commercialised and privatised, new questions arise concerning liability, investor protection, insurance mechanisms, and the interaction between public and private actors. The webinar brought together Rupert Reece, partner and Vincent Carriou, counsel, alongside arbitration practitioners, general counsel, space law specialists and industry representatives, to examine how existing legal frameworks are adapting to the realities of the trillion-dollar space economy.
