Maxime Masurier is an associate within Gide’s Public Law & Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) team in the Casablanca office.
His practice focuses primarily on the strategic infrastructure and energy sectors, in particular on the monetisation of generated electricity (wholesale markets, public support schemes, aggregation, self-consumption, PPAs, etc.). He advises public and private stakeholders on the structuring, financing and implementation of transport and energy projects in France and Morocco, handling regulatory and contractual aspects (PPPs, concessions, public procurement contracts, PPAs, EPC and O&M contracts) with a view to ensuring their bankability.
Maxime holds a PhD in energy law. His doctoral dissertation examines the development of PPA in France. He also holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in European Market and Regulation Law and a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Public Economic Law from Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas.
