The Warsaw office of Gide Loyrette Nouel advised Maxima Grupe, a Lithuanian group operating in the retail sector, on the acquisition of a chain of supermarkets located in the south-east of Poland (Aldik supermarkets). Maxima is the best known retail brand and the largest retail chain in the Baltic states (the group is present in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Bulgaria).

At Gide Loyrette Nouel, the negotiation process was supervised by Sergiusz Kielian – legal advisor in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department.
