Margaux Allilaire is Counsel in the Banking & Finance team of Gide in Paris.
Margaux specialises in acquisition and corporate finance. She advises lenders (financial institutions and debt funds) as well as borrowers and sponsors. Her practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional leveraged buy-outs (LBOs) in the form of bank debt and private bond issues.
Margaux Allilaire has been nominated several times in the "Ones to watch" category of Best Lawyers (2022 and 2023).
She is a graduate of ESCP Europe (2015) and Université Paris II - Panthéon-Assas (2013). Margaux was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2018.
Faten Anis is Counsel in the Structured Finance team of Gide's Banking and Finance department in Paris. She is specialised in real estate finance and project finance.
She advises lenders (credit institutions, multilateral institutions, insurance companies or debt funds) or borrowers (SPVs, French industrial and corporate companies, real estate companies or investment funds) on the structuring or restructuring of financing or refinancing transactions and the drafting and negotiation of the related contractual documentation.
She holds a law degree from both the University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas and the University of Cairo, a Master 2 in Business Law from the University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas and an MBA in Management from the University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas. Faten has been a member of the Cairo Bar since 2015 and of the Paris Bar since 2017.
Eric Bolis is Counsel in Gide's Structured Finance team in Paris. He joined the firm in 2017 and specializes in structured and real estate financing transactions.
Eric advises French, foreign and supranational financial institutions as well as sponsors on complex real estate financing (hotels, offices, retail, residential) and venture debt transactions. He speaks French and English.
He graduated from the University of Aix-Marseille (2013 - Corporate Law (Ingénierie des Sociétés)). Eric is a member of the Paris Bar.
Edouard Bourguet is a Counsel in the Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) practice group of Gide in Paris.
He advises public authorities, investors, contractors and financial institutions in relation to the development and financing of projects in the energy (grid-connected renewable and non-renewable power plants, decentralised energy generation), infrastructure (transport, water and waste treatment, social infrastructure, etc.) and telecommunications sectors, in particular in Europe and Africa.
In the Legal 500 EMEA 2023 guide, Edouard is recommended as a "Key Lawyer" in the "Energy" category.
Edouard is a graduate of Boston University School of Law (LL.M. in American Law, concentration in international business practice) and of Paris Nanterre University (Master's Degree in French Law and Common Law). He is an attorney to the Paris Bar since 2017 and the New York Bar since 2015.
Thomas Brusq is Counsel in the Public, Energy & Environmental Law team. He specialises in public law and sports law.
Thomas advises real estate operators on their development projects, assisting them with land management, the design of contractual arrangements and the operation or conversion of their assets. His extensive litigation practice gives him a comprehensive understanding of the issues at stake in these areas.
Thomas has also developed particular expertise in sports law. He advises professional clubs, sports event organizers, investors, professional athletes and their agents on all aspects of French and international sports regulations.
Thomas is recommended by the Legal 500 EMEA 2023 guide as a "Key Lawyer" in the "Administrative and Public Law" category.

Corentin Charlès is Counsel in Gide's Mergers & Acquisitions team in Paris.
He advises listed and unlisted companies on corporate law, securities law and M&A transactions. He recently worked for EP Equity Investment on its proposed acquisition of the Tech Foundations business from Atos SE, for Meridiam on the acquisition of a 20% stake in Meridiam by Samsung Life Insurance, and for Five Arrows Principal Investments on build-up transactions involving several of its portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Gide, Corentin worked in the Paris office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and completed several internships with leading law firms. He is a graduate of Sciences Po, Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and Columbia University, and holds a degree in science (mathematics, physics) from Université Paris VI Pierre et Marie Curie. Corentin was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2017.
Luca Chevallier is Counsel in Gide's IP team in Paris. He focuses his practice on various intellectual property rights (patents, trade marks and other distinctive signs, designs and models) and trade secrets, as well as related unfair competition issues, both as counsel and in litigation.
In patent law, Luca's practice focuses on domestic and multi-jurisdictional infringement and validity litigation in the pharmaceutical (drugs, PCCs, medical devices), biotechnology, telecoms and mechanical engineering sectors.
In trade mark and design law, Luca assists some of the world's leading brands in the luxury goods, sportswear, automotive and Web 3.0 sectors with infringement and invalidity actions, whether before the civil courts, criminal courts or trade mark offices.
Luca also has extensive experience of internet law issues (online counterfeiting, SEO/SEA, geotargeting, Metavers, etc.).
His litigation expertise also covers unfair and parasitic competition, particularly in the digital, design and media sectors.
As a consultant, Luca regularly assists French and foreign operators with audits, negotiations and the drafting of contracts involving intellectual property rights and technology transfers, particularly in the context of large-scale transactions (licensing, fund-raising, IPOs, acquisitions, joint ventures, infrastructure projects, R&D partnerships, consortiums, FTOs, etc.).
Luca holds a Master's degree in business law and a Master's 2 in industrial property law from the University of Paris II - Panthéon - Assas.
He is a member of AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle), APEB and APRAM (Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles).
Luca has been named "Ones to watch" in intellectual property law by BestLawyers.
Marc-Antoine de Chillaz is Counsel in Gide's Competition team in Brussels, which he joined in 2016. Marc-Antoine has developed a dual expertise in competition law and regulatory & advocacy.
In competition law, Marc-Antoine's practice focuses on state aid matters and antitrust. He advises clients on all issues relating to the qualification of state aids and their compatibility with the internal market, in the context of the notification of state aids, as well as in proceedings in front of the European Commission. Marc-Antoine also assists clients on cartel and abuse of dominant position issues, for example in the context of complaints to the European Commission. He also intervenes in merger control.
Marc-Antoine has further developed a strong expertise in regulatory & advocacy. Marc-Antoine is involved in the early stages of the publication of legislative and regulatory texts to analyse their content, identify the risks and opportunities for clients and draft position papers and amendments. He also intervenes downstream to defend an interpretation of the texts in line with these interests or to challenge the legality of these texts before the competent courts.
Marc-Antoine is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin (LL.M in European and International Business Law), the University of Paris II - Pantheon Assas (Master in European Business Law) and the University of Paris I - Pantheon Sorbonne (Master in European Law).
Wojciech Czyżewski is a Counsel at Gide Warsaw's M&A/private equity team.
He advises funds and industry investors on mergers and acquisitions, including in the area of corporate law. His clients include both listed companies and private equity investors.
The Legal 500 recommends Wojciech in the Commercial, Corporate and M&A category, and the latest IFLR named Wojciech as a rising star in M&A.
Prior to joining Gide, Wojciech worked, i.a., in the Warsaw office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges and completed several internships at major law firms. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw. Wojciech was admitted to the Warsaw bar in 2017.
Admitted to the Paris Bar, Donald Davy is Counsel and specialises in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, and particularly in matters related to venture capital and private equity, notably in the new technologies sector.
Graduated from the international ESSEC Business School (MBA), Donald holds a Master's degree in Business and Tax Law from Paris II ' Panthéon-Assas University and is fluent in French and in English.
Foulques Delaporte is Counsel and a member of the Tax team in Paris.
His main areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring, fund structuring, real estate taxation and financial taxation. He regularly advises funds, AIFM, real estate operators and financial institutions on their activities.
Since September 2023, Foulques is seconded to the London office.
He is listed in the Best Lawyer ranking - One to Watch (2022 and 2023).
He holds a DJCE Magistère from the University of Montpellier, a Master 2 in Business Law and Taxation/DJCE (2015) from the University of Montpellier, and a specialist study certificate in tax law (2015). Foulques has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2017.
Bertrand Garrandaux is Counsel with Gide's Real Estate department in Paris, where he acts in an advisory capacity and on litigation in all fields of real estate law.
Bertrand works with French and foreign institutional investors on any kind of operations (sale, acquisition, lease, construction, restructuring, real estate partnership) and on any kind of assets (office, retail, logistics, hotels, housing).
Bertrand also assists institutional lessors on asset management.
Bertrand has developed strong skills on real estate litigation. He assists his clients on leasing litigation but also on construction of sale litigation.
Bertrand is a graduate of Audencia Nantes, Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and holds a Master's degree in French and English corporate law from Paris-Sud University. Bertrand has been admitted to the Paris Bar since 2015.
Sophie Gillard is Counsel in the Real Estate Transactions team. She specialises in real estate and corporate law.
She advises French and international operators and investors of the real estate industry, such as the real estate branch of sovereign funds, AMF-approved portfolio management companies, listed property companies, investment funds and end-users. She intervenes on all asset classes (offices, logistics, hotels, coliving, etc.) and at every stage of real estate property projects.
She has been involved in a number of acquisitions/disposals of companies or groups of companies (OPCI, SAS, SCI, SNC, etc.), in M&A transactions (share deals), and of real estate property portfolios or assets (asset deals), either completed or in a future state of completion. She advises on the leasing of assets, their rental management (commercial leases, etc.), asset/property management agreements, development transactions (property development agreements, works agreements, guarantees, etc.) but also on M&A transactions, restructuring and the structuring of joint ventures.

Mariléna Gryparis is counsel in Gide's Capital Markets team in Paris.
She advises banks and issuers on a wide range of financing transactions, in particular IPOs (on Euronext Paris, Euronext Growth and Nasdaq) and bond issues (EMTN programme updates, drawdowns, standalone issues) as well as the issue of hybrid securities.
Since 2021, Mariléna has been named "Ones to watch" in the Best Lawyers ranking.
Mariléna graduated from the University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas with a professional Master 2 in Banking and Finance Law and a research Master 2 in Business Law. She speaks French, English and Greek. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016.
Barthélemy Littot is Counsel and leads the Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) practice in New York. He specializes in large projects carried out in emerging markets, particularly in the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East. His main sectors of focus are energy, water, transport and mining projects.
Barthélemy advises international financial institutions and governments in relation to their PPP projects as well as sponsors and lenders. He has also developed significant experience in drafting PPP laws.
Before joining Gide, Barthélemy did his traineeships at Linklaters, Shearman & Sterling, EDF (the French electric utility company) and in a law firm in Qatar. He also worked on secondment at ContourGlobal.
Barthélemy holds a graduate degree in business law from Lyon II University and a Masters from the Political Institute of Lyon with a specialization in PPP. He also studied at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton and Harvard. He is a member of the Paris Bar since 2014.
Pauline Manet is Counsel in Gide's Employment Law team in Paris.
She advises companies and international business groups on all individual and collective aspects of employment law. She regularly advises on the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions and restructuring operations.
She has been recognised as one of the "Ones to Watch" in the Best Lawyers ranking since 2023.
Before joining Gide, Pauline worked for 6 years at Hogan Lovells LLP in Paris. She holds a Master 2 Droit et Pratiques des Relations de Travail (DPRT) from the University of Paris II Panthéon Assas (2014) and an LLM from King's College London (2015). Pauline also holds a diploma from the Institut de Droit des Affaires at Université Paris II Panthéon Assas (2013). Pauline was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016.
Johanna de Mortillet is Counsel in Gide's Economic and European Law team in Paris.
Her practice focuses mainly on civil and commercial litigation in all areas of economic law (competition, distribution and consumer law), as well as Down Raid carried out by the Autorité de la concurrence and the DGCCRF - both during raids carried out on company premises and in the context of appeals proceedings against these raids.
Johanna also regularly advises on a wide range of economic law matters (such as supplier/distributor relations, restrictive practices, unfair practices, etc.) and is involved in structuring major projects for the firm's clients requiring the negotiation and drafting of commercial partnerships.
She assists and represents French and foreign clients operating in a wide range of sectors (agri-food, audiovisual, hotels, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
Johanna is a graduate of Montpellier University (professional Master degree in Business Law, Diplôme de Juriste Conseil en Entreprise (DJCE) - Magistère). Johanna was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2012.
Julien Negroni is Counsel in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice line of Gide in Paris.
He is specialized in venture capital, growth, private equity and mergers and acquisitions, and is involved in many complex and international transactions. Julien advises investors and start-ups, particularly in the technology sectors, on fundraising, LBOs, restructurings, acquisitions and exits.
He is recognized as "Ones to watch" in the "Private Equity" and "Mergers & Acquisitions" categories by the Best Lawyers 2024 guide.
Julien holds a MSc in International Business Law and Management from ESCP Business School in partnership with Queen Mary University of London (2013) and a Master 2 in Business Law from UVSQ (2012). Julien is a lawyer admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016.
Aurélie Pacaud is Counsel in the TMT team (Technology, Medias and Telecommunications) of Gide Paris.
She has cross-disciplinary expertise in matters relating to contracts, technologies and platforms, data protection, digital health and media. Aurélie is regularly involved in IT projects (drafting and negotiating contracts, and in data protection law (compliance, analyzing complex projects, managing data breaches and CNIL inspections). She assists her clients with all their digital activities and on image rights and copyright. Aurélie works on financing and other transactions relating to companies in the tech sector.
Aurélie holds a postgraduate degree in multimedia and IT law from Paris II ' Panthéon-Assas University, a postgraduate degree in French/Anglo-American comparative law from Paris University Nanterre, and an LL.M. from New York University. She is admitted to the New York (2013) and Paris Bars (2014). She joined Gide Paris' TMT team in 2014 where she spent 8 years before joining Doctolib's legal department. Aurélie rejoined the team in September 2023.
Rafał Osetek is a Counsel in the Real Estate Transactions & Financing team at Gide Warsaw.
Rafał advises clients from the residential, office, logistics, retail, hospitality and banking sectors on structuring and negotiating real estate transactions, including on the acquisitions of land, acquisitions and disposals of commercial projects, and financing. He assists clients in all aspects of the investment process. He also advises landlords and tenants in negotiating commercial lease agreements.

Bénédicte Perrier is a Counsel in Gide’s Employment law department in Paris.

Louis Ravaud is Counsel in Gide's Capital Markets team in Paris. He specialises in capital markets, derivatives and structured products.
Louis advises French and foreign arrangers and issuers on a wide range of capital markets transactions, including debt securities (bonds, MTNs, TCNs, Euro PP), equity securities (IPOs, capital increases, etc.) and securities giving access to capital. He also advises on a wide range of transactional and regulatory issues relating to derivatives.
Louis Ravaud holds a Master 2 in Business and Tax Law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master 2 in Banking and Financial Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Louis was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2017.
Alexandre is Counsel in the Public Law, Energy & Environment Law team. He specialises in two areas: infrastructure and public companies.
In the area of infrastructure, Alexandre assists his clientson the entire life cycle of projects, from the structuring of calls for tender, the preparation and negotiation of contracts (concession or public-private partnership contracts; contracts with builders or operators; financing documentation), through to monitoring their execution and even their expiry. In this context, Alexandre advises public bodies, sponsors as well as lenders. He is particularly active in the transport, sport and culture sectors.
Alexandre also advises major public companies and their shareholders (the French State, local authorities and other public bodies) on all operations relating to their development and governance: operations on their capital, changes in legal form or governance, reorganisation or transfer of their activities, etc. Alexandre assists his clients in drafting the legislative, regulatory and contractual acts necessary for the operation and in all related public law issues.

Harold Turot is Counsel in Gide's Tax Department in Paris. He advises on tax reassessments and criminal prosecutions for tax fraud.
Harold assists corporate and individual clients, in particular in the context of searches and seizure procedures, tax audits and tax litigation. Harold handles both negotiations with the tax authorities and proceedings before domestic courts and European institutions. He also advises clients on tax risk analysis, particularly in an international context or where there is a risk of criminal prosecution (permanent establishments, anti-abuse rules, withholding taxes).
Harold has been recognized in the "Best Lawyers - Ones to Watch" category since 2022. He is a member of the IFA and the IACF.
Before joining Gide, Harold worked alongside Philippe Derouin in tax litigation. He is a graduate of the Magistère de juriste d'affaires - DJCE of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Sciences Po (Paris) and Oxford University (Magister Juris). He also teaches at the university. Harold was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016.
Salim Zobiri is a Counsel within Gide's Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate practice group in Casablanca. He advises on a broad range of cross border M&A transactions, contracts and corporate law issues.
Over the years, Salim has advised local and international clients on a broad range of cross-border transactions and investment projects in Morocco, and more generally on the African continent. He takes regularly part in M&A transactions involving companies in the MENA and/or Sub-African regions (Morocco, Egypt, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Rwanda, Chad, Tunisia, etc.).
Before joining Gide, Salim worked at ASAFO & Co., KABLS Avocats, an independent Parisian law firm whose practice focuses on African M&A transactions, and a New York litigation firm.
Salim holds an LL.M. degree in Corporate and Securities Laws from Benjamin N. Cardozo (Yeshiva University, New York) and a Master in international business law from Paris V University. He is admitted to the Paris Bar (2012) and New York State Bar (2010), and speaks French, English, Arabic and Spanish
Joanna Jasiewicz, advocate, Of Counsel, a member of the employment practice at Gide Warsaw.
She specialises in labour law and social insurance. She also advises clients on European labour law aspects (e.g. posting of workers), social due diligence (including review of business models) and employment compliance reviews, employment litigation, company restructuration. She is a qualified mediator of individual and collective labour law.
She was a member of the Advisory Committee for the Coordination of Social Security Systems at the Council of the European Union (employer representative, Poland). She was a member of the Tripartite Team for Road Transport at the Social Dialogue Council (a representative of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan 2017-2022) and has been plenipotentiary of the management board of the employers' association Transport and Logistics Poland (2015-2022) as well as a member of the European Commission's working group on the posting of drivers, acting on behalf of the social partner (the employers' organisation Transport and Logistics Poland, 2021-2022).
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, Centre for French Law, Center for American Law organised by the University of Warsaw,. She is also a graduate of the postgraduate programme DESS de Droit des Affaires (Master 2 Diploma in Commercial Law) postgraduate studies in Human Resources Business Partner Management (Warsaw School of Economics) and Project Management (Warsaw University of Technology).
