On 3 March 2018, Rupert Reece, partner in charge of Gide's London office, a member of the firm's international arbitration group, and a University of Cambridge alumnus, was invited to participate at the University of Cambridge annual Cambridge Arbitration Day. This year, the topic focused on "Arbitration as a Market".
Rupert Reece presented on "Publicity in Arbitration", discussing in particular issues surrounding transparency in relation to commercial arbitration conducted under the major institutional rules (ICC, LCIA etc.). Gide was pleased to sponsor the event which brought together top practitioners and academics in the field for a full day to discuss hot topics in international arbitration.
