Gide Warsaw advised KGHM International's subsidiaries on the sale of their shares in Sociedad Contractual Minera Franke, which owns the Franke mine in Chile, to Minera Las Cenizas. The agreement was signed on 26 April this year.
The Franke mine is the Altamira region of northern Chile, just south of the Antofagasta region. In the first quarter of 2022, payable copper production at the mine was 2,300 tonnes.
