Gide steps up its growth and re-elects Frédéric Nouel and Jean-François Levraud
Gide announces the election of its new Executive Committee, with Frédéric Nouel, Senior Partner, and Jean-François Levraud, Managing Partner, re-elected for a third term. The leadership team is completed by Franck Audran and Laetitia Lemercier, also re-elected, and newly elected Caroline Lan.
Ranked top in the prestigious Chambers France 2026 guide and named “Law Firm of the Year – France” by The Lawyer in 2025, Gide confirms its position as a leading firm both in France and internationally and is thus stepping up its growth momentum. In 2026, Gide welcomed a Private Equity team comprised of Olivier Deren, Sébastien Crépy, Charlotte Dupont and Vincent Načinović, and a Fund Financing team headed by Meryll Aloro. It also elected 11 young partners, who will take on their new role on January 1, 2027. Last but not least, Gide opened a new office in Dakar. Frédéric Nouel has been Senior Partner since 2021. His practice focuses mainly on M&A, finance and real estate transactions for listed companies and investment funds active in the European real estate and hospitality markets. Consistently ranked Band 1, Hall of Fame and Leading Individual by Chambers and Legal 500, Frédéric was also named among the Top 40 lawyers to CAC 40 companies by Forbes and La Lettre des Juristes d’Affaires.
Jean-François Levraud has been Managing Partner since 2021. He advises mainly on real estate transactions, construction projects and property development in France and abroad. Jean-François headed Gide’s Casablanca office from 2014 to 2018. He is recognized as one of the leading real estate lawyers in France and Morocco by international legal directories Chambers Global, Legal 500 and IFLR1000.
Franck Audran, re-elected as a member of the Executive Committee, joined the Firm in 2007 and has been a partner since 2019. He specializes in competition law. Franck advises on merger control in complex acquisitions and restructuring operations, and represents clients in litigation before competition authorities and the courts. He is regularly recognized by the leading international directories (Chambers, Legal 500).
Laetitia Lemercier, re-elected as a member of the Executive Committee, joined Gide in 2001 and has been a partner since 2016. She specializes in structured finance and advises on real estate and project finance, as well as debt restructuring. She regularly advises financial institutions, funds, borrowers and investors at every stage of the structuring and execution of complex financing transactions. Laetitia is recommended for Banking and Finance, Real Estate Finance and Project Finance by Legal 500 EMEA, for Projects and Energy Domestic Finance by Chambers Europe, and for Banking and Finance by IFLR1000.
Caroline Lan, elected as a member of the Executive Committee, joined Gide in 2019. She is a member of the Firm’s Private Equity practice and mainly advises senior executives, managers, founders and family shareholders on their transactions. She has particular expertise in structuring management packages, incentive schemes and equity participation arrangements. Caroline is ranked Band 1 for Private Equity: Buyouts (Acting for Management) by Chambers France, and is recommended for Private Equity: LBO by Legal 500 EMEA and for Corporate/M&A and Capital Markets by IFLR1000.
