Gide advises LISEA on the closing of the financing of its maintenance and stabling facility (SMR) in Marcheprime (France)
Gide advised LISEA on the closing of the financing of its maintenance and stabling facility (SMR) located in Marcheprime (Gironde), an infrastructure supporting the liberalisation of the high-speed rail market on the Sud Europe Atlantique (SEA) line.
This project represents the first privately financed independent high-speed train maintenance facility in France. The SMR will enable the maintenance and stabling of new high-speed rolling stock operating on the SEA high-speed line and will contribute to strengthening network capacity and supporting sustainable mobility.
The Gide team was composed of Farah El-Bsat, partner, assisted by Vianney Lenfant and François Legrand on the financing aspects; Thomas Courtel, partner, and Paul Margelidon, public law; Nicolas Planchot, partner, and David Tshilembi Kayombo, real estate; Alexis Pailleret, partner, and Hecham Bounjoua on corporate aspects; and Laurent Vincent on hedging aspects.
The lenders were advised by Willkie Farr & Gallagher with a team composed of Antoine Bouzanquet, Francesco Paleto, Clémence Tournier, Pauline Lauwers and Jordan Pontal.
