Gide celebrates its 50 years in Brussels!
Set up in Brussels in 1967, ten years after the signature of the Treaty of Rome, in 2017 Gide celebrates its 50 years of presence in Brussels and organises on Thursday 15 June a special anniversary reception to debate on the future of Europe, at 6 p.m. at the Residence Palace (155 rue de la Loi, Brussels).
For the occasion, two high-ranking officials of the European Commission will talk about their role in the sectors of international trade and tax, for which the European dimension is paramount.
- Mr Leopoldo Rubinacci, Director, DG TRADE, on the defence of European trade;
- Mr Valère Moutarlier, Director, DG TAXUD, on tax harmonisation.
The debate will continue on the future of Europe and its relations with the United States in the presence of:
- Mr António Vitorino, Former European Commissioner;
- Mr Anthony L. Gardner, Former United States Ambassador to the European Union.
