Gide announces the appointment of four partners in Paris and Brussels
Gide is pleased to announce the appointment of four new partners in its Paris and Brussels offices.

Tiphanie Mareuse, Partner (Paris)
Tiphanie Mareuse is a partner in Gide’s Public Law team in Paris, working on major infrastructure contracts. She has extensive expertise in public contract law.
Tiphanie specialises in all forms of public-private partnerships in French and international infrastructure projects, primarily in transportation and defence. She also has specific expertise in infrastructure for sports and major events and was involved in the organisation of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Tiphanie advises the MSC group (a major player in container transport) within the scope of the execution of its port concessions in France and worldwide. She also recently advised the Eiffage group on the signature of the partnership agreement for the construction of the new Grand Port Maritime de Marseille headquarters.
Tiphanie holds a Master 2 in public economic law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and a specialised master’s degree in international business law and management from ESSEC Business School. She began her career in 2012 at Gide before going on to join the legal department of Bolloré Transport et Logistics in 2016. She returned to Gide in 2018.
Corentin Charlès, Partner (Paris)
Corentin Charlès is a partner in Gide’s Corporate/M&A team in Paris. He advises listed and unlisted companies on company law, stock exchange law and mergers and acquisitions.
Corentin recently acted for the Fonds Stratégique de Participations (FSP) on its investment in ADIT, and for the Agence des Participations de l’Etat (the French government shareholding agency) move to increase its stake in the capital of Eutelsat Communications. He also assisted Mérieux NutriSciences Corporation on its acquisition of Bureau Veritas’ food testing activities in 15 countries worldwide.
Before joining Gide, Corentin practised in the Paris office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He is a graduate of Sciences Po, Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and Columbia University, and holds a degree in science (mathematics, physics) from Université Paris VI Pierre et Marie Curie. Corentin was called to the Paris Bar in 2017.
Pierre-Antoine Degrolard, Partner (Paris)
Pierre-Antoine Degrolard is a partner in Gide’s Corporate/M&A team in Paris and coordinates all work relating to foreign direct investment (FDI) control within the firm’s integrated Antitrust, FSR & FDI practice.
Pierre-Antoine has handled numerous FDI cases across a broad range of sectors (defence, healthcare, new technologies, data, semi-conductors, etc.) and for clients comprising major international funds and French, European and international corporations on every continent. He has also managed multi-jurisdictional cases in nearly 100 countries in the context of large-scale transactions.
Recently, Pierre-Antoine has advised clients such as Warburg Pincus, BC Partners, GTCR, CapVest, Antin Infrastructures Partners, Vista Equity Partners, Vallourec, APE, NEC, Waters Corporation, and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company on the FDI aspects of their transactions involving targets such as Clasquin, Africa Global Logistics, Biogaran, Zentiva, Electronic Arts, Becton Dickinson, Sebia, Stada, Eutelsat, Uvex, ZF, and Robert Bosch.
He is a graduate of ESCP Europe, Université Paris-Dauphine and Université Paris II. Pierre-Antoine was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2012 and to the London Bar (Foreign Lawyer) in 2020.
Clément Bouvarel, Partner (Brussels)
Clément Bouvarel is a partner in Gide’s International Trade and Regulatory team in Brussels. He specialises in trade defence instruments – anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, safeguards – in Europe and third countries (China, Turkey, Canada, the Gulf States, Morocco, and others) and in European and WTO law.
Clément assists clients in the European steel, manufacturing, metallurgical products and agricultural products industries to counter unfair imports. He advises European exporters of agricultural, steel and manufactured products in proceedings outside Europe.
Clément studied at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan and holds a Master’s degree from the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense, as well as a Master of Laws (LLM) from Trinity College Dublin. He is a member of the Paris and Brussels Bars since 2017.
