Gide advises Tikehau Capital on the strategic combination between Sofidy and Tikehau Investment Management

Gide advised Tikehau Capital on the merger of Sofidy, an independent leader in real-estate investments and a recognized specialist in French sociétés civiles de placement immobilier (SCPI), with Tikehau Investment Management, a benchmark management company in the field of alternative asset management.

This transaction is intended to establish a unified and integrated real-estate platform, combining the strengths of Tikehau Capital’s real-estate subsidiaries and enabling the provision of an expanded and innovative range of real-estate investment solutions.

This merger gives rise to a combined entity with €14.3 billion in assets under management within its real assets strategy, benefiting from enhanced expertise in investment, structuring and distribution of real estate investment funds for both institutional and private clients, and enabling Tikehau Capital to further accelerate its development in the European real assets markets and to consolidate its position among the benchmark platforms in alternative asset management.

The Gide team advising Tikehau Capital was composed by Benjamin Delaunay, partner, and Thomas Le Meur on financial regulatory and investment fund matters, of Jean-Baptiste de Martigny, partner, Manon Garoui and Gersende Renard, on corporate matters, and of Laurent Modave, partner, and Foulques Delaporte, counsel, on tax matters.
