Gide advises the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations on structuring and implementing the first €1 billion tranche of a €5 billion financing granted to RTE to modernize and strengthen the electricity network

Gide advised the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, through the Banque des Territoires, in connection with a strategic savings fund financing for the benefit of RTE, as part of an overall envelope that could reach up to €5 billion by 2029.

A first tranche of €1 billion was committed in December 2025.

This financing is intended to support the modernization and development of the public electricity transmission network.
