Gide advises OPPCI IHE Healthcare Europe on the sale of a portfolio of Italian assets to BNP Paribas REIM

Gide advised OPPCI IHE Healthcare Europe on the sale of a portfolio of Italian assets valued at over €300 million.

This portfolio, consisting of 23 healthcare assets located in Italy and valued at over €300 million, was entrusted to Praemia REIM France following the acquisition, in July 2023, by this management company of Icade’s stake in Icade Santé for €1.4 billion.

This transaction was led by the Praemia Reim teams, in close collaboration with their investor clients, including Icade.

The Gide team, composed of Caroline Lan, partner, with Manon Volle-Lenoir and Oumnia Benkirane, associates, advised OPPCI Healthcare Europe on corporate aspects, while Guillaume Goffin, partner, advised on regulatory aspects.

IHE was also advised by Bonelli on all Italian aspects of the transaction and KPMG on French tax aspects.

BDGS and Sullivan & Cromwell advised Icade Santé on the corporate and tax aspects of the transaction, respectively.

BNP Paribas Reim, the buyer, was advised by the Italian teams at Clifford Chance.

IHE’s minority partners were advised by White & Case and Fairways Avocats.
