Gide advises KDDI corporation, in coordination with Nishimura & Asahi, on the French aspects of the acquisition of a strategic stake in Coincheck

Gide is pleased to have advised KDDI Corporation, one of Japan’s leading telecommunications companies, on the French aspects of its acquisition of a strategic stake in Coincheck Group N.V., a Dutch public limited liability company active in the crypto-assets assets and Web3 ecosystem.

The transaction was carried out in coordination with Nishimura & Asahi, which acted as global counsel to KDDI Corporation.

The Gide team was led by partner Thomas Urlacher (M&A) and included:
