Gide advised Expedition Growth Capital on its €50 million investment in Dougs

Gide advised Expedition Growth Capital on its €50 million investment in Dougs, an online chartered accountancy firm founded in Lyon in 2015. The transaction follows the €25 million Series A financing round completed in 2023 with the same investor.

Dougs intends to accelerate the automation of accounting production through artificial intelligence, roll out a network of local franchise partners across France from early 2027 and begin its international expansion by 2028. The company is targeting €100 million in annual recurring revenue and 100,000 clients, with the ambition of becoming the leading chartered accountancy firm in France.

The Gide team was composed of partner David-James Sebag, counsel Julien Negroni and associates Bastien Duclos and Matthieu Lobognon, on Corporate/M&A aspects.
