Simon Laclaustra is an associate in Gide’s Real Estate Transactions & Financing team in Paris. He provides both advice and litigation assistance in the field of real estate law.

He advises mainly institutional clients - in particular investment funds, developers and landlords - on real estate transactions, development and asset management, as well as negotiating commercial leases and monitoring construction projects.

On the litigation side, Simon appears before all the civil and commercial courts of first and second instance, in disputes relating in particular to promises to sell, commercial and residential leases, construction contracts, real estate agent mandates and, more broadly, all disputes relating to real estate law. He acts as both plaintiff and defendant at all stages of the proceedings.

Simon is a graduate of the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Master 2 in Real Estate and Construction Law) and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master 1 in Public Business Law; University Diploma in Law, Management, Economics and Finance). He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2021 and in 2020 received the Prix d'Excellence en droit public immobilier, awarded by Rivière Avocats | Associés.
