Partner Renaud Baguenault de Puchesse is a member of Gide's Real Estate Transactions and Financing practice group. He has widely acknowledged experience in advising on acquisitions of buildings (offices, retail outlets, businesses) and companies with underlying real estate assets. Over the last fifteen years, he has been instructed in connection with more than 100 transactions, each worth at least 50 million euros. He is the regular advisor to several German investment funds and French and international institutional investors in the structuring of complex transactions.
His practice includes business leases, construction and planning law, legal and tax structuring for asset acquisitions and financing in France.
Renaud has been involved in a number of large-scale transactions these past years. In particular, he acted for Maurena Buitenland on the sale of MBDA headquarters in Plessis-Robinson near Paris, for Bouygues Immobilier on a partnership with Primonial for a project in Issy-les-Moulineaux near Paris, and for Westbrook Partners on the acquisition of several of their assets in Paris. He also advised OECD in their leasing out the very famous "In&Out" office building complex in Boulogne belonging to French listed company "SFL".
Renaud Baguenault de Puchesse is regularly ranked in the various international legal directories, such as Chambers Europe, Legal 500, Best Lawyers and Who's Who Legal Real Estate in France. He was named Lawyer of the Year 2012 in Real Estate Law by US legal journal Best Lawyers in France.
